Sweet Violets

This weeks theme is Flowers.
I found some sweet Violets hiding in the undergrowth of the garden.

They always conjure up memories of my Grandma

 who loved them.

Green Hellebores

Something Green is this weeks challenge.

I have a thing about green flowers and my beautiful green Hellebores have been flowering all through winter and are still going strong.

Bluebells in April

This weeks challenge is April, and I know it's April when

the Bluebells start to flower in my garden -

not the delicate, sweet-scented, wild ones but the big, brash
 and intrusive Spanish Bluebells that take over the garden!

Every so often there is a white one or a pale pink one, which I like better.

  Here are the first bluebells of the year.
