Something Blue

This week the theme is 'Something Blue'.
I just love any excuse to photograph my Victorian collection of dead butterflies!

Thin

This week the them is Thin.
Real life has taken up my time this week so I have had to hit the archives.
Sea Holly is such a beautiful plant, but the long, thin spikes are incredibly sharp!

August

The theme this week is August.
This morning I found a beautiful Agapanthus stem lying on the path.  I planted it last summer and it's so very pretty - white flowers with petals tipped in pale blue.
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the stems in full bloom very soon.

Colours of 2016 - Cobalt

Cobalt blue is the colour for July,
and is there a more perfect flower for the challenge than the Agapanthus?

Our Beautiful World

This week I thought I would link up with Our Beautiful World - the theme is prickly.  Sea Holly is such a beautiful plant - I love that shade of blue, but it has to have the sharpest prickles in the garden!
