 This week the theme is Past Times.  

I love the workmanship on this beautiful old Singer sewing machine - I wish they decorated modern ones like this!

 My lovely blog friend Lynn has a collection of wonderful rusty objects in her garden and she inspired me to photograph my old sewing machine outdoors - although it did come back indoors when I had finished!

Things That Make Me Happy

 This week the theme is 'things that make me happy'.

One of the things that I love doing is photography - it is so enjoyable to gather together some special treasures and have a little photo session, and I have especially had a lot of pleasure from joining in with this challenge each week.

 I have recently added another vintage inkwell to my collection - I can't resist a nice inkwell - so out came the camera and I had a happy afternoon!

Sweet Violets

Pastels, Paints and Positive Thinking

Positive thinking for this weeks challenge.

With social distancing and isolation being the norm for the next few months, it's going to be hard to stay positive.  I have a selection of sketchbooks, pastels and paints to help me through the challenging times ahead.

March and Narcissus

Colours of 2015 - Green

Fresh grass green/moss green for the August challenge.  

I love the colours and flavours of these macaroons - pistachio, elderflower and vanilla!

Colours of 2015 - Aqua

Aqua is the colour for July.

 I thought the Pyracanthus worked well with the beautiful old teacup.  I love the tiny creepy crawlies painted on it too!
