 This week the theme is Round - and here are some very round cupcakes, celebrating the arrival of Spring!

 April always sees me moving away from the earthy autumn colours that I naturally gravitate towards and love working with, and moving towards bright greens, yellows and pinks.

These piles of felt, velvet and pleated silk are all ready for me to start some Spring inspired embroidery, collages and textile jewellery.

 This week the theme is Signs of Spring, and Pussy Willow is always a wonderful signal that Spring is here!

Signs of Spring

The theme for this week is Signs of Spring.

The Blackthorn is looking glorious at the moment and is always the first to flower 

along the hedgerows - it looks like white confetti!

Thank you to all who visited my blog last week, I am so sorry I didn't return many visits - life became hectic and then for two days I was unwell after my vaccination, but I am so happy to have had the first jab now!

Home Sweet Home for this weeks challenge.
Spring is here and it's all change.
Summer decorations are out - blue and white china, cream and coral coloured books, shells, coral, vintage glass and my great grandmothers pretty floral china.  

 I have been enjoying the change of scenery while in lock down!

Pussy Willow for February

I wanted to photograph snow or frost for February
but it's been too warm here.
I chose Pussy Willow instead as it's making the garden look so beautiful at the moment.
